Painting
There is exactly one week in the life of a flat when painting it is easy, and that is the week before the furniture turns up. No sheeting over a wardrobe, no working around a bed, no living in the smell. The other end has its own version: the nail holes, the scuffs behind the sofa and the patch where the AC bracket was, all of which your landlord will find during the inspection. Both jobs are cheaper on an empty room.

What you get
- Walls and ceilings painted with the surface prepared rather than rolled over
- Nail holes, cracks and bracket patches filled and sanded flat
- Putty and primer where the wall needs it, which is most walls over five years old
- Floors, fittings and any furniture already in the room covered and masked
- Handover touch-ups at the flat you are leaving
- Site swept and the waste taken away at the end
Not included
- Waterproofing, damp treatment and the leak causing it
- Plastering, POP and false ceiling work
- Exterior and society common-area painting
- Paint cost, which is billed at what it costs so you can pick the brand and sheen
Your options
- Full flat repaint
- Every room before the load arrives, which is the cheapest time it will ever be.
- Selected rooms
- One bedroom and the hall, or whichever walls actually need it.
- Patch and touch-up
- For a deposit inspection at the flat you are handing back.
- Texture and accent walls
- A single feature wall or a textured finish, priced by the square foot.
What we need from you
- Rough floor area, or the number of rooms and their sizes
- Whether the flat will be empty, and from what date
- Colours and finish, or ask the painter to bring shade cards
How long it takes
A 2 BHK is usually three or four days once the room is clear. Book about a week ahead, because painters are the first thing to run out in shifting season.
What it costs
Every job is quoted on what you actually need. Tell us the scope and we send a written price with the terms before you commit to anything.
No advance is taken on a call and nothing is charged for the quote itself.
Who does the work
The work is done by verified local technicians we already use on moves, not by staff of our own. We take the details, send them the job and stay on it until it is finished. You approve the price before anyone is booked.
Frequently asked
Should I paint before or after moving in?
Before, if the dates allow it at all. An empty flat is faster to paint, cheaper to paint and does not need everything you own sheeted in plastic for three days. If you are already in, we work room by room instead.
Is the paint included in the price?
It is quoted separately and billed at cost, because the brand and the sheen you choose can double it. You get the labour figure and the material figure as two lines rather than one number you cannot check.
Will patching the old flat get my deposit back?
It removes the argument about nail holes and scuff marks, which is what most deposit disputes actually are. It will not cover damage, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Often done together
These land on the same few days as the move, so people usually book them in one conversation and one visit each.
Tell us what you need
Send this and we call or WhatsApp you to work out the scope, then put the price in writing. Nothing is charged for the conversation.
