Furniture dismantling and assembly
Flat-pack furniture is designed to be assembled once. Taking a five-year-old wardrobe apart and standing it up again is a carpenter's job, not a packer's, and the difference shows in whether the doors still shut. The other half of this is the damage nobody plans for: a bed frame that arrives with a split rail, a drawer runner that gave up in the truck, a dining table with a leg wobbling. A carpenter at the new flat fixes those while the room is still empty enough to work in.

How long it takes
Usually booked onto your shifting date so the beds are standing by the evening. A 2 BHK is most of a day at each end.

Who does the work
The work is done by verified local technicians we already use on moves, not by staff of our own. We take the details, send them the job and stay on it until it is finished. You approve the price before anyone is booked.
Frequently asked
Will my particle-board wardrobe survive being taken apart?
Usually, and less reliably than solid wood. Screw holes in pressed board lose their grip after a couple of cycles, so the carpenter carries dowels and inserts to fix that. He will tell you before he starts if he thinks a piece is not worth moving.
Is this not something the packing team already does?
Some packing teams will unscrew a bed. A carpenter is a different trade, and it shows on modular units, wall-mounted consoles and anything with a soft-close hinge. If your move is mostly cartons and one bed, ask your partner first and save the money.
The movers damaged a table. Do I claim that or repair it?
Those are separate things and you can do both. Raise the damage with your moving partner and their insurance, and if you want it usable this week, we can put a carpenter on it. Photograph it before either of us touches it.
